The Retrieva portable tracking system is a flexible product enabling you to track vulnerable people or to protect your valuable assets. It uses the same technology platform as other Retrieva tracking products and is repackaged into a sturdy and convenient waterproof (IP67) case.
It can be worn on a belt, hidden in a car, or fixed to a trailer or equipment, and is available with the convenient security fixing bracket. In fact you can probably use it to track almost anything. And in keeping with our philosophy of delivering solutions directly into the hands of our customers, not only can the Retrieva portable tracker report its location to a web-based mapping service, but it can also open a two-way link directly to your mobile (cell) phone.
Why is this so important? Well, if you are searching for an asset or a loved one whilst on the move then having the answer in the palm of your hand is a lot less stressful than talking to a call centre of trying to find a computer. So not only do you have complete control of the tracker via SMS text messaging, but the tracker can update you directly with location data, status information, alerts, and event reports. And with the ViewRanger or Google mapping functionality on your phone then the tracker will also automatically plot its location on the maps for you to see.
The ergonomic design also has great functional value. As well as creating a protective and waterproof shell for the electronics, it enables you to assess the trackers performance via three embedded LED's.
